- Pain and symptom management — 2 hours
- Implicit bias (1 hour per year of cycle = 3 hours per 3-year cycle) — 3 hours
- General CE — 33 hours
Important Information
Social workers in Michigan need to complete a total of 45 hours of continuing education every three years, including five hours of Ethics, two hours of Human trafficking identification and reporting, two hours of Pain and symptom management, and three hours of Implicit bias (1 hour per year of cycle = 3 hours per 3-year cycle); the rest can be general CE of your choosing.
Renewal periods in Michigan run three years and end on April 30 for every licensee. Complete all required hours before that date.
