Important Information
Social workers in Alaska need to complete a total of 45 hours of continuing education every two years, including six hours of Substance abuse education, six hours of Cross-cultural education (including Alaska Natives), three hours of Professional ethics, three hours of Teletherapy practice, and three hours of Suicide education; the rest can be general CE of your choosing.
Renewal periods in Alaska run two years and end on June 30 for every licensee. Complete all required hours before that date.
