Important Information
Social workers in the District of Columbia need to complete a total of 40 hours of continuing education every two years, including six hours of Ethics (in-person/live interactive only), two hours of LGBTQ cultural competency, and four hours of Public health priorities; the rest can be general CE of your choosing.
Your renewal period runs two years and ends on the last day of your birth month — not your birthday itself. Complete all required hours before that date.
