Important Information
Optometrists in West Virginia need to complete a total of 40 hours of continuing education every two years, including 12 hours of Ocular pharmacology or therapeutics, two hours of Pharmaceutical agents by injection, and two hours of Laser or advanced procedures; the rest can be general CE of your choosing.
Renewal periods in West Virginia run two years and end on June 30 for every licensee. Complete all required hours before that date.
