Requirements
- Synchronous in-person learning (minimum) — 10 hours
- Jurisprudence exam (counts as CE, required within first 2 years of licensure) — 3 hours
- General CE — 37 hours
Important Information
Optometrists in Washington need to complete a total of 50 hours of continuing education every two years, including ten hours of Synchronous in-person learning (minimum) and three hours of Jurisprudence exam (counts as CE, required within first 2 years of licensure); the rest can be general CE of your choosing.
Your renewal period runs two years and ends on your birthday. Complete all required hours before that date.
