Family therapists in Virginia need to complete a total of 20 hours of continuing education each year, including two hours of Ethics, standards of practice, or laws governing behavioral science professions in Virginia; the rest can be general CE of your choosing.
Renewal periods in Virginia run one year and end on June 30 for every licensee. Complete all required hours before that date.
