Important Information
Attorneys in South Carolina need to complete a total of 14 hours of continuing education each year, two hours of which are in Ethics / Professional Responsibility (LEPR), and the rest can be general CE of your choosing. A few additional topics apply only in certain situations — see the asterisked items above.
Renewal periods in South Carolina run one year and end on February 28 for every licensee. Complete all required hours before that date.
