Requirements
- Ethics — 3 hours
- Child abuse recognition and reporting (Act 31) — 2 hours
- Suicide assessment, treatment, and management (Act 74) — 1 hour
- General CE — 24 hours
Important Information
Family therapists in Pennsylvania need to complete a total of 30 hours of continuing education every two years, including three hours of Ethics, two hours of Child abuse recognition and reporting (Act 31), and one hour of Suicide assessment, treatment, and management (Act 74); the rest can be general CE of your choosing.
Renewal periods in Pennsylvania run two years and end on February 28 for every licensee. Complete all required hours before that date.
