- Flood insurance (P&C licensees, one-time)* — 1 hour
- Enhanced flood (NFIP sellers, one-time)* — 3 hours
- LTC (one-time, DFS-approved course only)* — 6 hours
- General CE — 12 hours

Important Information
Insurance professionals in New York need to complete a total of 15 hours of continuing education every two years, including one hour of Law, one hour of Ethics and professionalism, and one hour of Diversity, inclusion, and elimination of bias; the rest can be general CE of your choosing. A few additional topics apply only in certain situations — see the asterisked items above.
Your renewal period runs two years and ends on your birthday. Complete all required hours before that date.
