Important Information
Dental hygienists in New Jersey need to complete a total of 20 hours of continuing education every two years, including three hours of CPR (hands-on AHA), one hour of Infection control, one hour of Professional ethics and NJ jurisprudence, and one hour of Prescription opioids / opioid abuse; the rest can be general CE of your choosing.
Renewal periods in New Jersey run two years and end on December 31 for every licensee. Complete all required hours before that date.
