- Opioid/pain management/substance abuse (DEA/CS registrants only)* — 2 hours

Important Information
Optometrists in Nevada need to complete a total of 40 hours of continuing education every two years, 30 hours of which are in Clinical/ocular pharmacology and eye disease (OPAC holders), and the rest can be general CE of your choosing. A few additional topics apply only in certain situations — see the asterisked items above.
Renewal periods in Nevada run two years and end on February 28 for every licensee. Complete all required hours before that date.
