Important Information
Attorneys in Louisiana need to complete a total of 12.5 hours of continuing education each year, including one hour of Ethics and one hour of Professionalism; the rest can be general CE of your choosing. A few additional topics apply only in certain situations — see the asterisked items above.
Renewal periods in Louisiana run one year and end on December 31 for every licensee. Complete all required hours before that date.
