- General CE — 17 hours
Important Information
Licensed nurses in Illinois need to complete a total of 20 hours of continuing education every two years, including one hour of Implicit Bias Awareness, one hour of Sexual Harassment Prevention, and one hour of Cultural Competency; the rest can be general CE of your choosing.
Renewal periods in Illinois run two years and end on January 31 for every licensee. Complete all required hours before that date.
