Important Information
Licensed nurses in the District of Columbia need to complete a total of 18 hours of continuing education every two years, including two hours of LGBTQ topics or cultural awareness and three hours of Public health priorities (as designated by DC Health Director); the rest can be general CE of your choosing.
Your renewal period runs two years and ends on the last day of your birth month — not your birthday itself. Complete all required hours before that date.
