Important Information

Family therapists in the District of Columbia need to complete a total of 30 hours of continuing education every two years, including six hours of Ethics, four hours of Trauma-informed care, two hours of LGBTQ cultural competency, and three hours of Public health priorities (10% of total); the rest can be general CE of your choosing.

Your renewal period runs two years and ends on the last day of your birth month — not your birthday itself. Complete all required hours before that date.
