- General CE — 12 hours
Important Information
Dental hygienists in Colorado need to complete a total of 30 hours of continuing education every two years, including 16 hours of Clinical or science-based content (minimum) and two hours of Basic Life Support / CPR (max 2 hrs credit); the rest can be general CE of your choosing.
Renewal periods in Colorado run two years and end on February 28 for every licensee. Complete all required hours before that date.
