Important Information

Dental hygienists in California need to complete a total of 25 hours of continuing education every two years, including two hours of Infection control (CA Dental Board-approved course), two hours of California Dental Practice Act (CA Dental Board-approved course), and four hours of Basic Life Support / CPR (in-person skills component required, max 4 units); the rest can be general CE of your choosing.

Your renewal period runs two years and ends on the last day of your birth month — not your birthday itself. Complete all required hours before that date.
